Is this actually a good deal? In the market for a cordless vac and there are soooo many brands and types.

I tend to stick to wirecutter for recommendations but those items are never on sale (probably because they don't need to be). It's hard to trust these MSRPs.

SDers seemed to not hate the previous deal but I agree it is hard to tell which features you'll appreciate most to narrow down the options Confused

I'm in the market as well. I've been peeping all the alerts and nothings jumped out at me. Last year I would see so many good deals for cordless vacs

I bought the corded version for the same price. I wish the corded version was the same height of the cordless. It's too darn tall.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Kruse

Tried a different model recently that featured "Clean Sense IQ" and really disliked it compared to one without it. The feature is a complete gimmick and constantly was turning the speed up and down, which causes it to miss very obvious dirt and debris on the floor. I'd recommend looking for one without it.

The best cordless stick vac if you must get one is a Dyson. Just don't overfill it, empty it out after each cleaning, don't drop it, and don't get it wet.

I don't mind them since they're relatively powerful and Dyson's parts support is pretty good. The accessory support is great too.

Sharks have good suction and filtration but lose suction fast.

Dyson is overrated and is constantly clogged with a short battery life on the high setting which is the only one that works. Maybe good if you have a small apartment and no kids or pets but I paid $500+ for the Dyson my wife wanted and it works fine if you are just doing one room and constantly empty it (stuff gets stuck and wont turn on even when is not even half full). I mostly just use the old $100 dirt devil instead, it does a far better job.
