Mini 4 PRO does not come with goggles, it comes bundles with a touch screen controller (RC-2) or a controller that requires a phone as a display (RC-N3)

Also comes with standard battery packs or battery intelligence plus that pushes the weight above 249 Grams. This would put your drone under much more federal regulation.

I bought my mini 4 pro from Woot and ended up returning it. Received an open box unit that was already bound to an existing DJI account with a broken left propellor. Ended up returning it for a full refund , no replacement because it was sold out.

Still using a DJI neo , small form factor - not the best camera but great platform for entry level FPV flying ( DJI Goggles N3 + FPV controller) or standard controller use (RC-N3/ or RC-2)

The Mini 4 Pro is everything most people will need or want in a drone. Probably the best for the money.

I don't see they have a true competition, their products are so good well round.

The mini 4 pro that connects to your phone is a dangerous little pack. Cheap but you can do so much

DJI stuff getting slightly cheaper now that they have more competition from companies like Potensic, Fimi, and Specta.

I have a Potensic Atom and it's nifty as hell. I chose it over the DJI Mini 3 last year because of price and reviews.

I bought the 3 Pro off of woot a year and a half ago and it turned out it was still locked to the previous user so it worked but if I ever needed to switch out the remote control or do anything like that I would be screwed. Thankfully DJI was able to confirm with the previous owner or do something that enabled it to work again but I don't think that always is successful for everyone. So just keep that in mind buying used

It's on sale. Last month for $750 you could get it with the RC2 remote with built-in screen, and three of the plus batteries. Alas, there's no time machine, but this sale is not as good of a sale IMO.

Registration and a free "test" that is really just a way to let us know the basic safety rules. I personally don't want to smack my drone into any manned aircraft but apparently I'm ignoring some massive federal overreach.
