Just a heads up, apparently the PC version doesn't have co-op of any kind.

Just a note that this isn't the "Rebrushed" game that was released more recently:

Just bought this earlier today for my living room PC. I was hoping to find a game that I can play together with my 10-yoa daughter, and it seems like this one might fit the bill.

Yeah I came here to say this after reading some of the Steam reviews.. that is insane considering that was kind of the whole gimmick of this sequel compared to the original?

I get certain console ports not having their online multiplayer brought over to PC, but to strip out the local co op feature of a game centered around it is just, weird.

Like why release it at all if you can't figure out how to make the co op work, the game is literally called the power of two.

EDIT: To everyone that wants to play this with their kids, since they screwed up this release so bad, you can probably emulate it through a Wii U or PS3 emulator I'd imagine.

Doh! Looking at the Steam page more closely, you're right. We've only played a few minutes, and apparently the 2nd player can't come in until the second stage, so I was about to be extremely confused and bewildered. What a bummer though!

Oh well, at least it was only $2, and the game seem like it might be fun for my daughter anyway.

EDIT: It might have been helpful if they had updated the game description, since the first sentence is "Unleash the power of the brush in an all new co-op adventure."

A different type of game, but Disney Illusion Island has been fun with my 6 and 10 year old daughters, though my youngest and I have played twice and the three of us played once. Maybe my wife will play and we can do four player coop! Some handy accessibility features as well so I don't have to do sections for them - they just turn into envelopes and float to me if I get too far ahead (as player one).

It may only be $2, but if you've only played a few minutes and just bought it, you can get a refund

I was thinking the same, it's definitely more like "the power of two *dollars*"

Edit: As member gotk pointed out, this deal is from cdkeys so my advice here is not so helpful.

You can play up to two hours and still get a refund on Steam. Just click Help>Steam Support on the top banner.

That game had no business being as good as it was. Got some serious Ori vibes from it but was way more accessible for kids with some abilities they gave you to help other players (aka my 4 year old) with the platforming. Solid game, but obviously more expensive than $2 too.

That would be true if you bought it through steam. Since this is a grey market key from cdkeys, there's no such thing as try before you buy here.
