Spend the 50 extra for the AOC 2K mini LED. The 575 dimming zones slap any basic LED backlit monitor, although, they are coming out with a new model with over 1000 dimming zones so that should be significantly improved for better blacks

edit: didn't mean to tag you lol

I tried the AOC one and was not impressed. I must have gotten a dud. So I went with a Dell and that worked so much better for me. I am happy with that one.

Dell rewards gets another 10% off, so it'll match the $180 low in the deal history.
Edit: Dell doesn't have it!

This decent enough for home office work? Don't think I'll game on it. But my 35 inch wide screen just quit on me. Was thinking about maybe trying one of these. Or maybe 2?

For home office work, not needing perfect color accuracy, anything cheaper with decent brightness honestly. And even then, you could close the blinds if you got one dirt cheap with not-so-great nits

My bad, previously saw it at this price on Dell and thought it was more recent than that!

He means this one. Usually they're $250, maybe tariffs, but those are rescinded so the price should come down.

In fact we may see deals on electronics soon since so many importers brought in a ton of inventory to beat the tariffs which are now lifted (on China electronics only).

Tariffs aren't lifted last I heard. It's flip-flopped multiple times in the last few days.

Look for local market place on fb. I replaced my 35 with 27 and in one week, went back to 35. I found my 35 on marketplace for $150 and i think costco has lg for 200

Why are you buying anything over 1080p for office work?

I'm not? My requirement is just clear text. And originally had a 35. I've heard VA can cause text to not be as clear. Assumed higher resolution might help with that. I'd prefer an ultra wide. But prices get kind of crazy. Tho I am looking at the LG at Costco now.
