I almost bought these @$220 last week before I found my misplaced Jabra 85t. I was on the fence between these and the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2, but was leaning towards these due to the lack of availability of the Jabra now. This price would have made the decision easier.

How do these compare to the Samsung Buds 3 Pro ?

Also are these going on firesale because a new revision is coming out ? Are these ok for gaming in terms of latency via bluetooth ?

I believe these have the ability to connect to multiple bluetooth devices simultaneously. Buds 3 pro don't.

No latency as long as u have a decent transmitter. I would choose these over the buds 3 pro unless u r only using with samsung devices. Id recommend an actual headset if u r only using for gaming. I wouldn't call this a fire sale. Prob what the price should be.

I have these after using jabra 65t 75t 85t elites, the anc is worlds better and while the battery life is lower as a result i feel the overall build quality is stronger. I believe these are top of the line as far as i am aware when i searched around christmas. Use em daily.

I need new ones as my old XM4 batteries are dying. I'm curious when the XM6 are coming out as they should be poking their nose around the corner.

Are these better at sticking in your ear compared to the 4? I try running occasionally with them occasionally and they're a bit loose...

As far as fit they are the same as the 4s. They use the same foam to secure in your ear canal. I have to say though I have the 4s and the 5s The sound quality of the fours and noise cancellation is far better than the 5s. I have a pair of Bose earbuds that sound better than both and the noise cancellation is about on par.

Such a shame that Jabra is getting out of the business, their options were way better than similar options.

Believe it or not the XM5 foam tips have less material on the outside edges and gets thicker towards the center(about the same thickness in the center as the XM4 foam tips). I find I have a harder time getting a complete seal on the 5's in my right ear than with the 4's

You said Bose earbuds are better. Can you please let me know the model? I am looking for a good pair of earbuds and I am confused between getting Bose Quiet comfort , Samsung Buds Pro 3 or these.

Xm6 rumored to be coming out in June. Speculation though

they do. and not only can they maintain 2 connections at once, you can hear both sources simultaneously. I was listening to music from my laptop and browsing instagram on my phone. I could hear music and audio from the clips. I don't have the buds pro3s, but I had the pro1s, and these are head and shoulders above, better quality. they sound fantastic, the noise cancellation is the best I've heard for buds, and the app has tons of options so you can really tweak their functionality to your liking. 100% would buy another pair

I snowboarded from 930a to 5p with these playing constant music, outside noise allowed(i.e. active mic and sound reproduction), and I never even got a low battery warning

I highly recommend these. I got a refurbed pair a couple months back, and I've been super impressed with them.
  1. they sound great
  2. you can connect to two bluetooth devices and simultaneously hear both
  3. the noise canceling is really good for earbuds, to the point that I was walking under the manhattan bridge while a train was passing overhead, and thought my phone was in my shirt pocket and vibrating, because my chest was vibrating from noise of the train and I could barely hear it
  4. the app allows a lot of tweaking the functionality to your liking
  5. the battery lasts a long time (I used with outside noise enabled for 7.5 hours and never even got a low battery warning)
  6. the case is sleek and small

This is a pretty solid deal for the WF-1000XM5s. I bought a refurb pair a few weeks ago for $108 from Secondipity (from Slickdeals) and they were like new. I'd highly recommend the WF-1000XM5s as a solid pair of earbuds.
