I did the larger one all by my lonesome, yes it's easier with 2 people, but not impossible

So everything you store is huge? I have 3 of these in my garage and I'm still amazed at how much stuff I can store on them and how much space I saved.

These look like the exact same ones that were on sale from Northern Tool. I put 3 up in the garage and def takes at least 2 people to install.

Over the past month I installed a 4x8 and two 3x8 ones solo. And I'm not super qualified. Definitely doable, some pieces are a bit heavy to lift into place.

Did a 4 pack from Northern tool $100.
installed by myself. not terrible but would have been much easier with 2 people.

for $45 each, its not a deal but save me 2 hours round trip to nearest NT store.

I put up 4 of them myself when they were on sale at Northern Tool. Doing them alone was definitely challenging. But after you do one, you get the hang of it. One suggestion if you are doing it alone, is to put up all the vertical bars first (including the lower ones). That way you can sort of rest the base on the lower ones when putting it up and that relieves the weight off you. You can hand screw the base to the vertical beam, and then do the same on all four sides.

24 x 48? So tiny, whats the point? Could fit like one large tote on each. Waste of effort

Same here… a lot more trips up and down without a beer assistant.

Can I connect two for 8 ft or is the larger one completely different parts?

I've also done the bigger one by myself. I watched a YouTube video where he used bungees and I did the same. Not too bad.

A bit cheaper and probably same difficulty to screw together some 2x4's, but you get a lot more storage space

There's a video on YouTube where a woman install the bigger one (4'x8') by herself. I had help but could've done it myself with a lot more trips up and down the ladder.

You need a metal bar to connect the pieces to make bigger. Not included this.

I would also look at https://saferacks.com/collections...rage-racks if you are going to pay some one to install.
