It's a fun RPG.

Post-apocalyptic adventure where you recruit demons, fuse them, create your own builds, and progress through a story that is challenging enough.

It also has some QoL changes that make it better than the OG release, and moreso over the older game (SMT3: Nocturne - which is more challenging).

For the price, I do recommend it.

I liked it. I thought the story was cliche (and incomplete) anime doo-doo, but the rest is fun -- unique gameplay outside of battles, a solid battle system (like any other SMT/Persona game,) awesome music, cool graphical theme & presentation. Versions on other platforms are superior, as they run at a higher resolution and at 60FPS (Switch version struggles to hit 30FPS.)

SMT V ended up becoming my GOAT after awhile. SMT V:V took the game to the next level for me with all the improvements that I ended up playing through the game a few more times. I played all versions of the game and on each platform. Regarding Switch, SMT V:V performance wise feels way better than the original game. I really hope ATLUS releases a Switch 2 patch for the game to bump frames up to 60-120 frames. 120+ frames is smoooooth.
