It's unwieldy, sorta/kinda like holding a beer can, although, admittedly smaller.

Have this light. Like any flashlight, it's a tool and perfect whenever you have a situation that requires the right tool. You need to illuminate a room? You can use this at a bright setting and point it up towards the ceiling or against a wall. The light will softly reflect and make the room softly lit. It came perfect when I had to take pictures of the damage of my house when it got hit by lightning. There were no functional utilities and needed to get the insurance adjuster to take pics. That person came with just an iPhone flashlight.

Having 3 18650 batteries is impressive… I think I would be correct in saying that most carry just one. Granted they are not this wide.

Question is, can the beam be focused at all?

darn it. just did the deal for 40$ a week ago from Sofien

being paranoid, thinking about this one in case customs and tariffs.
Tariff goes on the wholesale price, which is just a few dollars.

we are all here on SD for a reason...

i assume 100% tariffs doubles the price. correct me if wrong?
It would double the wholesale price, not the retail price. The tariff can be absorbed by the producer or the importer, or they can try to pass it on to the consumer. But for the seller to make the same amount of profit, all any one in the value chain needs to do is raise the price by the tariff amount when it was originally imported. If retail is 10x markup, that usually doesn't mean you pay 10x the tariff at the end.

Did a quick google:
Whoa! It could be even lower than wholesale!

But in this case: I think the store is SOFIRN (in USA) itself actually and not like a retailer Amazon.

Tariffs are calculated on the value of the goods at the point of import, which is typically lower than the wholesale or retail price. This means the tariff is based on the declared value when the goods enter a country, not on the price at which they are sold to retailers or consumers.
Here's a breakdown:
Import Value:
The tariff is calculated on the value of the goods as they enter a country, often including things like the manufacturer's price, shipping costs, and insurance.
Wholesale Price:
This is the price retailers pay to buy goods from distributors or manufacturers. It includes the import value, the tariff, and any other costs incurred before reaching the retailer.
Retail Price:
This is the price consumers pay for goods at a store. It includes the wholesale price, the retailer's markup, and any other costs.
In short: The tariff is a tax on the import value, not the wholesale or retail price. This means the tariff affects the cost to importers and distributors, which can then be reflected in the wholesale and retail prices.

I have this flashlight, this is a great price for it, but note it is more like a flood light than a spot light. It also gets too hot to hold when in the brighter light mode. But a guy on printables designed a really good handle for it, so if you have a 3d printer, you can print a handle: https://www.printables.com/model/...rry-handle
