This is a great safe on paper. 2 hours fire rated, UL lock and UL RSC certified, white finish, included lighting. But the heading is mis labeled. It says it's 19 cubic feet, but they are using the external dimensions for this. Using the internal dimensions it's only 9.48 cubic feet. A huge difference. Every safe I've seen uses the internal dimensions to list the size. Storing rifles will fill this up quick. But still a great safe if you need something smaller.

Want to pull the trigger on this but I'm not seeing too much information, except for the Costco site, on how good this safe is.

I just realized that the internal dimensions are much smaller. Thanks for clearing that up!

ProSteel is the manufacturer of Browning safes. This safe uses 12 gauge steel which is just barely enough to get a RSC (Residential Security Container) rating. It's certainly not the best but I don't think it can go wrong for $800 including shipping.
The best safes used by jewelers are TL rated and they cost significantly more.

Feelings on all these electronic locks? Had one fail on a small browning safe and thank god it had a key backup, these don't.

In for one, hopefully the shipping issues don't plague my order.

How'd the shipping go?
