I bought this in the last deal. First cube wouldn't stay connected. The company sent a second cube and it worked for a while and now it's a bust too. They told me Woot isn't an authorized seller so ymmv on support. I would just stick to a regular cube and YouTube videos.

Rubik's cube made Jeopardy the other day.

How many possible configurations are there?

Like most Jeopardy questions, I got it wrong...

Edit - come to think of it, it must have been some other game show as it was a multiple choice question...

I got this a few weeks ago. I couldn't connect using an ipad, but my android phone is fine. I don't know why...I gave up on the ipad.

The cube's connection only turns on if you start moving it, BTW. You can't just sit next to it and connect. Pick it up and then connect.

It is a pretty neat toy - I think it could do the educational part better.

This is less about solving a cube and more about learning HOW to solve a cube. Yes, it will automatically tell you how to solve it from any position, but the BT technology is more about the guided tutorial, teaching you the steps and then saying "ok now you try" and it will tell you when you do a correct move and when you didn't. (If the latter, it will tell you how to revert it and try again)

I have a similar bluetooth rubiks cube. Not worth it. Just get a normal rubiks cube and watch youtube videos to learn.
