Have this for my apartment and it's great - battery life lasts 3 or 4 months and like that it is battery powered.

This is a great deal. I still use my old one, but I had to turn the chime off because it kept going off by itself constantly. It's a known issue, but it can freak you out the first time it happens. 😜

Have this works reliably for last few months, quickly installed using battery to test, then when proven switched to wired

I have a Ring doorbell. Can I replace my Ring doorbell with this without much modification? (cut bigger hole, etc.)

Mine (the wired version) rings on its own enough that I need to unplug the chime for a time. Generally, it seems like it gets too hot and triggers the ring mechanism. It's quite annoying and happens specific times of the year when the western sun hits it in the afternoon.
I thought this was the Nest replacement but sadly, doesn't look like I will be keeping it long-term.

Can confirm, I only get phantom rings about three times a month though

Did they fix the lack of pre-roll yet? I know when it was first released there was no preroll EVEN if it was hard-wired. Without pre-roll a video doorbell is practically useless IMO.

I have mines running for 3 weeks. There is pre-roll on this model vs the S330 (which does not). Having said that, pre-roll on the Ring Pro works better, but not enough for me to go back to subscription pricing...

Yeah you shouldn't need to cut any bigger holes. Just change the mount with the new screws

If you have an existing wired door bell, you can use the power on that line to power this device. If your camera is triggered too often, it will not be enough, but otherwise it will extend your battery life. I filled the batteries once in 6-7 months.

From my personal experience (hardwired). It worked great for the first year or so. Then, for some unknown reason, it became unreliable and wouldn't detect motion/people sometimes. I personally wouldn't recommend this product. Switched to Reolink and it seems better at picking up motion.

Stay away from eufy products. Their app makes their 'otherwise good' products absolute trash!
Read those android reviews on the eufy app BEFORE investing any money. Apple has the same problems but not as many people are vocal

Nest imagery is way better (also handles contrast well) ...the eufy wins on no subscriptions needed

I've had this doorbell for about a year and overall I like it. Switched to it for the zero fees.

The only issue I have had is that the package guard feature will absolutely freak out sometimes and bombard me with package delivered and package picked up notifications every 5 seconds. Turned the feature off.
