Returned mine because it doesn't record continuously and caused our mechanical chime to buzz or have an electrical noise (even in a newer built house).
Went with reolink wired wifi doorbell

I got this from Amazon in December for 119. Works great compared to other video doorbells I've had in the past, I set mine up to be wired so I don't know about battery life.

Stay away from eufy products. Their app makes their 'otherwise good' products absolute trash!
Read those android reviews on the eufy app BEFORE investing any money. Apple has the same problems but not as many people are vocal
What makes the products trash is the Homebase 3. IMO, the products work just fine on their own. I have had the 1st dual doorbell and two solar cameras for a while. I never had issues with them until I upgraded to the HB3. All of a sudden, facial recognition stopped working, and the solar camera above the garage started missing events. I blame that bionic AI crap, which is still in beta mode. I read that the HB3 connects to a specific router and uses it for all cameras, so if the signal is not strong enough, your cameras will have connection issues. It happened to me, and I only have a small ranch-style home.

I wouldn't buy this camera cause it only has a PIR sensor and not a radar sensor. The only things it has over the first gen is that you can remove the battery and turn off the sensor lights manually. If you wire your battery camera, you're only down to one plus, and that is optional. Personally, I think the 1st gen is better looking. It looks more sleek and intriguing.

Im still on homebase 2 and it is still crap. I noticed their app started going downhill when they 'secured' all the feed... then they added AI and it never got better. Reading through the thousands of 1 star reviews on google play basically says the same.

I only had HB2 connected to my doorbell. It was a breeze compared to the HB3. Sounds like different experiences for different customers.
