Bought one recently and had to return due to charging issue. It kept showing error when I charged it for the first time. I tried 3 different chargers and cables. It could be my luck but I didn't want to take another chance.
I bought one about 6 months ago and it has not started a car yet. I tried several times but just don't have the power to do it. It is an overpriced flashlight.
I have 2 and they work well.

Which brand? I've used 4 different ones and only one was a dud. The other three have all started cars that wouldn't start on their own (mostly strangers' vehicles). The only one of those three that I wouldn't recommend is an older one that has a proprietary (round pin type) charger. The two that use USB-C are always kept in the car and I check the charge level and top them off every 3-6 months.

Bought one of this type of cheap lithium chargers, different brand YABER. It did work for a couple of jump starts on a sedan but has stopped holding a charge properly (will not fully charge and the battery is leaking charge, 4 lights to 3 lights overnight) and no longer provides right current/voltage to jump. About 18 months old. I know this isn't the same brand but a lot of these are made with the same general design and technology, FYI.

Wouldn't rely on any of these to start your car. I have one, and as soon as it's configured to start a car, it gives an error message (blinking light pattern) and stops offering current. My understanding is none of them are built very well. The larger your car, the worse they will perform.

All these chargers are no name. But really $30. If it gets you running one night instead of waiting for an uber or hook to pick you up. Then that is money well spent. I keep tire plugs, electric air inflator and jump box in all my vehicles.

These are complete garbage. I bought one a few months ago, it worked one time, then stopped charging. I bought another. Same exact thing happened after one use.

Just FYI if you're not experienced with these… if you leave them in your car almost year round they tend to last 2-3 years at most. Buying for less than 40 dollars is what I tend to do. They're basically throw away every 2-3 years

From the reviews:

"It does not Gonzalez charge

I tried sometimes but alwais displays on 78%

Can you help me?"

So a heads-up, if you need one that does a Gonzalez charge, this one won't work for you.

I never leave mine in the car, unless we're on a road trip. Always store indoors at room temp, for best battery life.

ESPECIALLY in the summer, as heat kills these.
