I got it for free five years ago. I suspect it will be offered for free again. It's not bad, but I was glad it didn't cost me anything.

I've read quite a few books of this type, and this one was my least favorite. There's nothing wrong with the advice it gives but I found it a bit repetitive and thought it placed its emphasis in some strange areas. I'd recommend The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins over this, even at full price.

I started reading this right after the Colins book and have had trouble making it through this. So far it reads a lot more like a typical self help type book with a lot of psychological hype and anecdotes - which is fine - but just not as interesting to me at this point. It's not bad and I think it woulda been helpful to me earlier on in my personal finance journey.

Edit: that being said - I woulda been way happier to have purchased the kindle version for $2 than the hard copy!

This is simple.
Get out of debt. Consolidate debt if possible/needed. Get extra jobs or a different one.
Stop overspending for things you don't need.
Start saving and investing.
Follow Dave Ramsey but still have credit cards to rent cars or build credit until you are a net worth of $10 million (i.e., just keep the darn cards and don't use them, or pay them off monthly when you are financially free).
No need to read the same.
