7 nrr is a joke in the hearing protection world.
Just note these are all v1. For the most part difference between these and the v2's is that they just made them smaller and more comfortable. (But the 2's are nearly twice the price!)
NRR of 7

edit: varies by model. this was posted before OP had added multiple variants.

Seems steep for a tiny piece of silicon.

Here's an alternative.

I've used these for a long time. You get 4 sizes, so you can work with the fit.

No. You need something a lot stronger for the gun range.

I used these for several years at shows and loved how sleek they were, you honestly forget they are even in your ears. The problem (as several others mentioned) is that they actually dont block THAT much noise, so I was having ringing in my ears after shows anyway. I switched to some pretty basic earplugs that had a higher noise reduction - much cheaper, much less comfortable, but I dont have the ringing issues any more.

I decided to go with the Quiet, $12 for a lower entry cost to try them out, and no switch that I might accidentally leave/knock on the wrong setting.

Although out of curiosity, for anyone that owns the Switch, how deliberate do you have to be to change the setting? Do you ever find that they get rotated on their own without you meaning to?

Do these fall out as you toss in your sleep? My neighbors' hobby is to chain smoke on the phone while they let their dog out to bark at 3am, so i need earplugs to stay in all night. I usually use disposables you get for shooting but it seems like a waste
Stays in my ear all night, no problem. I always bring them on trips because I never know how quiet the place I sleep at will be. At home I almost never need them.

They have different versions with different NRR. The more hardcore ones are often used by motorcycle riders. The lighter ones are used often for people with sensory issues so that they can still talk to people, but it's dulled and makes the noise less "sharp".

Get the version that's for like concerts and yes- they are very popular for that. Each version has different levels of intensity.

These are mostly useless if you are looking for noise reducing solution while sleeping or working.

Recently bought (and then lost) a pair of Loop Switch so this is perfect for heavier music concerts and festivals. More comfortable to put these on and wear than the Eargasms I've used for years.

I go to a lot of concerts and electronic dance events/festivals, so I have numerous hours of use with the etymotic er20, Eargasm, and Loop experience plus. BY FAR loop experience plus has been my favorite. It's the only one where I don't get ringing in my ears after the event even if I'm standing in front of the speakers. It's also the most comfortable, and the design is better in case you drop them on the ground. I'm sad the experience plus is sold out, but willing to give the switch a try.

Are any of the other models, other than Loop Experience Plus that are sold out, worth getting for concerts?

The D'Addario dBuds are underrated, they have two noise cancelling settings -12 dB and -24 dB and come with a lanyard to avoid losing them. Been using them for about 2 years now at festivals and clubs and they have been fantastic.
