I guess they can't get rid of this trash my usb c stopped working after a whike
"2x 65w" is so misleading. They can't both do 65w at the same time
I try to avoid Anker due to issues with Eufy cameras but I have had good luck with their cables and chargers. I picked one of these up after debating about it for awhile during Amazon's big spring sale or whatever made up sale they had a few weeks ago. It's been fine so far and I haven't really given it much thought. I have the cord running under my couch to provide charging while on the couch, mostly my phone or laptop.

As noted the capacity is misleading. You will never get more than 67W total and that's only when using a single USB-C.

The box has a pamphlet that includes a matrix of sorts explaining the various scenarios. I'll include a version below but if you're visually inclined, they have a graphic version on the Anker website - https://www.anker.com/products/a91c0.

Single port:
- USB-C: 67W Max
- USB-A: 12W Max

Two ports:
- 2x USB-C: 45W Max + 20W Max (65W Max total)
- 2x USB-C: 30W Max + 30W Max (60W Max total)
- 2x USB-A 15W Max total
- 1x USB-C: 45W Max + 1x USB-A: 12W Max (57W Max total)

Three ports
- 2x USB-C: 30W Max + 20W Max + 1x USB-A: 12W Max (62W Max total)
- 2x USB-A: 15W Max + 1x USB-C: 45W Max (60W Max total)

Four ports:
- 2x USB-C: 30W Max + 20W Max + 2x USB-A: 15W Max (65W Max total)

The other thing of note is that while the surge protection and indication of surge protection is nice, it offers extremely low protection. According to the Amazon page it's 300J, which isn't uncommon for a product like this. However, most sources I've seen recommend 1000 joules as a starting point for surge protection of TVs, computers, etc. and at least 2000J for home theaters or sensitive equipment. Anker supposedly has a $200,000 USD protection but there a lot of caveats, more info here: https://us.anker.com/pages/connec...t-warranty

"USB-C Fast Charging: With 2 67W USB-C ports on the front, you can charge almost anything, including your phone, tablet, or laptop at high speed. Note: The 2 USB-C ports share a total of 65W. "

Why does anyone need TWO USB-A in 2025? Even one I would be like "okay I guess...", but I would rather just have all C

Not everyone can afford changing all their cables, especially proprietary ones like 3DS and such. I actually appreciate that we still have options with both.

One could just add easily ask why does anyone need super fast charging.

I for one have plenty of "legacy" USB-A to [whatever] cables for devices that either do not need or cannot use PD or similar charging technology, so being able to use those without an adapter or replacing the cable is nice and reduces costs and e-waste.

Unfortunately as I mentioned last time one of these was at this price (here: https://slickdeals.net/f/18201859-29-99-anker-525-7-in-1-charging-station-w-2x-65w-usb-c-2x-usb-a-3x-ac-5-cord-at-amazon?p=176381431#post176381431 ) it is a shame that the USB-A feels like it was thrown as an afterthought or to pad the number of charging ports up, because 15W between both ports just feels awful, especially since they are not QC so it's either full or half, nothing in-between.

This product is around 2 years old. I still use some USB A chargers for things like Kindles and old headphones that use USB Micro. I also have some cables left over from the car. Its not bad for $30. I use it on my nightstand.

If you care about light pollution make sure to get some stickers for that light. It is bright. Have one in baby's room and had to double up on stickers over the light.

Just a heads up, there's two versions of this. I just got the other version of this, which has a flat cable and not the regular round cable. I don't think there's anything different between the two besides just the cable. The flat version doesn't seem to be on sale by itself on Amazon, but they do have a bundle deal for the flat version plus an European plug adapter for $35.99 (though it looks like it's in low stock as I'm writing this).
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Char...B0DNQLT585
Also, Anker through Costco Next has the flat version on sale for 30, but theres a $45 minimum for free shipping; otherwise, it's $4.99 for shipping. (If interested, just go to this page:
https://www.costco.com/anker-char...38306.html
Click on the "Shop Costco Next" button. Then sign in with your Costco account.
Although the surge protection on this is pretty low (300J), I bought it just cause I can't seem to find any other good surge protectors that are travel friendly, meaning they can handle various voltages. This one has an input voltage of 100-240v. Most I see with higher joules protection seem to be only 120v. So I just figured low is better than nothing. Also, since this has 3 regular plugs on the backside, I just bought a different USB block charger with higher wattage capabilities.
*UPDATE: After doing a little more research and looking at the Anker 525 I just received, it says it's rated at 125v on the back, but according to their website, it is safe for worldwide travel with a 100v-240v rating. (see list here: https://support.anker.com/s/artic...nal-travel). After a quick look, I did notice that the Anker 341 with a surge protection of 2000J is on that list as well, so I may have been wrong about there not being higher rated surge protection that is good for traveling to different countries. The main difference though, besides the obvious number of AC plugs available, is the wattage for the USB ports. The 341 probably wouldn't charge a laptop. And it seems kind of flimsy from what I can tell in video reviews. The 525 has some weight to it and will at least work as a backup charger for my laptop if my charger block goes out. I guess I'll see how well it holds up.

MINE DID TOO! Only one USB c stopped on mine though. Anker support said to unplug the power for an x amount of time. I did one minute. Fixed it. Then it happened again. Was going to send it in for warranty, did the power trick again... It hasn't happened again since. Just in case that helps
