Where are all these thumbs ups coming from without a single comment? I call bs

I heard the game is still cheap feeling and dull/boring after a short amount of time since it's just a horde shooter at the end of the day. I guess if you follow the $1/hr rule, you can easily get 6 hours out of it but I'm saving my money.

apparently can be a fun time with friends but the single player is just you and bots for your squad and the bot AI is not great.

edit - ok I watched the whole AJ vid, and they like it as a fun with friends game. They say the sounds and the feel are good but no boss battles just endless waves. BUT they are reviewing as a $40 purchase, at $6... hmmmmmm. I don't hate GOW horde mode which this seems to be similar to, but for the whole game, ehhhh

TLDR - if you have a couple friends willing to go in with you, sounds good. All my friends have zero game time so I am gonna pass.

I put in probably about 20+ hours into it. Really enjoyed it! I still pick it up periodically to play.

I played the games for months. If you like something mindless and have fun blowing up aliens, enjoy it. Otherwise, it has some minor depth.

I liked the game but I admittedly have only played 3-4 hours of it. I don't mind the hoard shooter thing and the game is fun solo but the levels are WAY TOO LONG. They should be broken up into 1/3 sized chunks or chapters so you can drop in, complete a section, grind a little when you have a little free time, etc...not devote the better part of an hour to each one.

I played through the game first with one friend and then again with two. It's not the deepest horde shooter out there but it's not the worst for sure. This is for 6 bucks you can get 20 hours of fun easily if you have at least 1 friend to play with. Its not worth buying solo and i dont think you'll find random online players. The bot was just ok and only plays as a single class so you have to work around it for synergy.

One big thing to note is that this game is now at end of life and the devs made a final patch which made giant improvements to quality of life and removed the grind for cards you may have seen in reviews. Now you can just buy cards for 0 credits at the store infinitely. These cards can speed up your xp and credits gain to further reduce grind. This makes the game sooo much more enjoyable.
