if you haven't played this yet but are considering it, you should. I recently played through the 2, 3 and 4 for the first time and they were great. 2 was my favorite and got me hooked on the series (they felt too difficult when I was growing up, glad I finally got to them)

Are you talking remakes? I'd agree that they're the best way to approach the games now. As much as I adore the original REs, they are a bit dated now. RE4 is actually my favorite of the remakes (although it changed the least, given that the original was already an over-the-shoulder TPS), but RE2 is a damn close second. RE3 is way beneath the other two. I loved the original and feel it's underrated in the canon but the remake feels rushed and barebones. Still fun and worth playing but not as rich of an experience as the other two.

I really wish they'd remake 0 and/or CV.
I loved 2, but I agree that 3 was subpar…lots of changes and it felt like it was rushed. However, I still enjoyed playing it.
I JUST started playing RE4 remake last night, and it's amazing so far. I put hardcore mode on because I beat the original GameCube version back in the day a few times…yeah I'm old!
Get this and get the VR mode for FREE! And once you go VR, it becomes another level of TerrAR! Sorry, couldn't help it. But yes, VR for this Village and you're NOT playing the same game on a 2d screen.
