I got this before. If you unzip the pocket, the inner lining of the pocket is merely a layer of mesh/net. It's open enough your thigh and underwear shows through the pocket 😅😅

Echo this guy. These are super lightweight yet still look good after a year of hiit training. I don't use pockets tho - as the previous commenter said, it's just mesh and a flimsy zipper, won't hold anything more than keys.

These are good for tennis, pickleball, or as running shorts.
If you want heavyweight with pockets, go with "basketball" shorts.
They don't make them like they used to (Adidas basketball), but the Champion "basketball" shorts (mesh) are still semi-heavyweight.

I'm an Adidas fan for life and rock many pieces of their merchandise, including shorts, shirts, pants, jackets, hats, and shoes. That being said, I wouldn't pay $5 for these. They are the cheapest, thinnest pieces of shit I've ever purchased. 0/10 definitely would not recommend.

I got these for the same price a while ago. Yes, they're synthetic and thin fabric but they're designed to be. I don't expect the pockets to last long due to the mesh lining. A set of keys will likely put a hole in the pockets quickly.

Does anyone have a recommendation for reasonably priced 7" inseam training/running shorts with side zip pockets? I've been to several TJ Maxx stores and finding side zip pockets is tough!

No chance you own these. They are gym shorts. They're supposed to be breathable and lightweight. Mine feel like every other basketball short I've owned my entire life. They fit and feel great.

You're right. I just wanted to jump on this thread and see if I could get a response from some random telling me what I do and don't own. If you like them, great. I maintain my position that they're cheap pieces of shit and not on par with the usual quality I expect from Adidas.
