I almost turned it off from the first two boring hours in the snow.
Now, a short *mumblemumblehundredsmumble* hours between this and RDO later, I know it's probably the greatest video game I've played.
Rank Bonuses: Allows faster ranking in Red Dead Online up to rank 25.
Content Included In Other Editions: All the other Story Mode bonuses found in the cheaper editions, including the Bank Robbery Mission and bonus Gang Hideout, the Dappled Black Thoroughbred, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit, the 3 Free Weapons at Gunsmiths, bonus Medallions and Talismans, and finally all the gameplay bonuses are also included.
The ranking faster is a waste imo. Rank 25 ain't that high and all it does is unlock cosmetic stuff. Unless it makes profession ranking (vs general ranking) faster too… but again, not a big deal if you enjoy the game.
Access to weapons early in RDO is not important at all imo. They unlock quickly and you start with a decent fast reloading repeater.
I can't recall if I played the bank dlc. I think so… but if there's a bank robbery in the standard game then I'm confusing them. I think there must be one in standard… it has a major plot point.
Can someone confirm and say if the additional mission is any good? That's the only potential value there, I think. 2¢ etc

Nope, not standard. I have played that. Here's a hint to value: The walkthrough is under six minutes with travel. Takes a little longer the first time, but you won't miss it if you want to buy a grande at your local coffeehouse today. 😉

Not positive but I believe no it's not a steam code. If you look at the DRM options it's not listed.
