This product did not adhere well to a coffee pot or to a toaster to hold a electrical cord clip. Plastic or steel. Surfaces were prepped as per directions

Both of those things get hot which might be the problem there

3M seems to be substantially better than Gorilla while also being cheaper, however the LLPT seemed to be the best for its price.
My bigger question is whether this comes off clean, which I doubt since it's designed as really heavy mounting tape.

Coffee machine does not get hot where it was mounted. Toasted either on sides were not hot enough to be a factor.
