Correct

The retaliatory move means companies and individuals in Hong Kong will have to pay private couriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS to deliver packages, further driving up costs for consumers on top of US levies.

A DHL spokesman told CNN that it will continue to process shipments to the US, monitor the situation and work with customers to help them keep up with latest changes. FedEx said it's "business as usual." CNN has reached out to UPS for comment.
I purchased a different model last summer. It worked long enough to install all of my software and then it died. Customer service ghosted me after a few emails and none of their suggestions worked. I even tried an external HDMI dongle and it is still dead. I now have a $500 paperweight and I will post this as often as I can.
I waited a month and now have disputed the charge with CC since they charged it a day or two after ordering. Even got something back saying might be another month. Great deals, but seems like they have a real shipping issue. Not sure if this is tariff related or not.

That seems like a great solution, good find!

That bracket comes with lots of screws and several heights of standoff, so I'm guessing some combination should work.

Once you have it working, let us know how it went. At this point I'm considering a strip of Velcro ;-) but mine is an inelegant solution and will probably be aggravating over time.
that amazon thing didnt work for my monitor, but it would have worked fine on the computer.

Good data points all around. The 24" 2015 era Dell 1200p monitor I intend to use it on doesn't get really hot, but my Alienware monitor sure does, so something to think about.

As the monitor doesn't have resale value, maybe I'll just drill some sort of frame onto the back and velcro to that. I've got all kinda random pieces of computers laying around that I could use.

Good to know the amazon bracket didn't work, thanks for sharing, that saves the rest of us an order.

I too had W11p 21H2. I plan on doing a fresh install, so not updating. It actually hasn't seen the internet yet.

The real test is to see where we are in a couple of years of use. I don't have objective data, but there are plenty of stories out there about Minisforum minipcs failing within a year or two.

Mine showed up the other day - seemed to be packed well, physical unit was in good shape. No accessories (luckily I didn't need them), did have the hard drive connector pigtail as others mentioned. Started up - reformatted / reinstalled Windows just fine. Between Windows Update and drivers on Minisforum page - no problems.

Ok, a question now for everyone.. Does your UM560 stay asleep?

Mine will wake from sleep for about 20 minutes after it going to sleep. After that I have to use the power button to turn it on again. This is sub-optimal for a behind-the-monitor mounted minipc. It just won't work.

I looked on the Minisforum website and there is no updated BIOS, no BIOS at all, just a 2023 drivers package. The BIOS link gives an error screen:

https://www.minisforum.com/pages/product-info

Though I did find the same BIOS on this Japanese website:
https://merideri.com/um560-valorant (scroll to mediafire link)

Unfortunately that BIOS is dated 2022.

Also, the BIOS is abysmal. There are almost no settings. I read some Reddit posts that claim ALT+F5, then save and restart will "unlock" advanced BIOS settings, but this is not working for me. Geeze, my AMD Lenovo laptop has far more BIOS settings.

Anybody have luck with getting the advanced BIOS settings to appear?

Anyone else order from Minisforum and actually receive their order? I put an order in over a month ago for a refurbished unit and am still waiting. I don't think their in stock units are really in stock.
I received my order after ~4 weeks. It did come through, but took forever.

These are definitely not being shipped from the US! The specified shipping time is way too long if that were the case!....and the various shipping horror stories here confirm this! Stay away from this entirely!!

I want you to know that the computer shipped and arrived earlier than the quoted time and from the United States.

Everything about it was as described, from the computer model, the ship date and the shipment location (USA, free of tariffs). I say this because your histrionics were not appreciated and were a disservice to anybody this computer could've been good for, but who were dissuaded by you spouting incorrect information.

I hold you personally accountable for having done a disservice to the users of Slickdeals.

Has anybody had luck getting this computer to wake from sleep properly?

Or has anyone discovered a way to access to the advanced BIOS settings?
