In the details it says frequently returned. I wonder if that means the digital code has expired. Not sure why this one doesn't have a 3D release.

There has been 3D releases for this first Avatar. The latest one is from 2023 - a remastered 3D release.

No Dolby Vision on the Ultimate version while the Complete version has it. But the price difference is ridiculous.

While many people don't care for the story, the visuals on this movie are still great. I'd still prefer the one with better audio.

The Blu Ray was released in 3D. A 4K 3D version would not fit on discs...requiring too much memory.
