Guess everyone has their own experiences. My S90c recently died on me less than 14 months after buying it. TV tech said that it cant even be repaired since they don't make the panels anymore and recommended I stay away from Samsung and advised to get LG if I ever need to get a OLED.
Now im switching to LG and trying to get a G4 since I hear that they have better QC but it sucks to hear that there are still duds out there.

Difference is that you can take the tv back to Costco no questions asked and get a replacement. I bought from greentoe which connects you with beach camera. They don't do replacements. If you get hit with a dud you have to send it back to them and wait for your refund. Putting it back in a box after spending some much time to mount it and get it ready is an absolute pain in the ass
I have bought from GT twice, both LG TVs, no issues with either of them. Starting with the C7 and now the C2. I actually dropped my C6 the day it was delivered. They came and picked it up and dropped off a new one. Didnt have to send anything back myself. That was also a handful of years ago (for the C7) so things might have changed since then. Just my experience.
Why would I lie about this? LG C4 green tint issue is widely known. It got so annoying I gave it up. The G4 I just bought straight up dead on arrival and it's been a huge pain in the ass to return since I bought it from greentoe. The tv is 77 inches and weighs a shit ton. That's what I'm warning users about. Just pay the extra money and get your tvs from Costco, preferably Samsung cause they're just better.
Granted the G4 model is heavier than other models.
The 77" is under 100 lbs.
If you ever come across an old plasma now those things were built like a tank and were as heavy as one.

Why are you buying tvs from such sketchy web sites. Who know where they are sourcing and what batches of tvs they buy. Big purchases always have some risk unless - better off getting it from a reputable place

Good if you're going to mount it yourself or just have it ready for whoever's doing it for you.

Interesting no price increases for LG this year. In fact they lowered the price for the G5 77", G5 55", and the 42" C4 by $100.00
