have to disagree. i have built at least 60 builds with these for the local business i work for (we sell pcs in a town of 15,000) & these board are phenomenal & theres consistently deals that make it $100 with newegg combos. this deal is good (funny enough ive seen more corsair ram issues, albeit ddr4 rgb solely)
It can be flashed to B650 GAMING X AX V2 (BIOS) to activate some of the disabled features. Instructions is available online.
Someone mentioned this in the other thread and I'm repeating here for visibility. There is a reason those features were disabled. Using a higher core CPU will more than likely blow up your PC even with leaving the features disabled.

Sounds too good to be true, and then I looked at the reviews. Never seen a MB with so many negative Newegg reviews.

This is the Gigabyte Gaming Wifi...not the MSI...and arguably better board😅
I know people are dissing this board, and understandably so. However, the way I see it, the RAM is worth about $80, so you're getting $60 motherboard. Will it run 12/16 cores? Absolutely not, but for a budget 6-8 core build it's hard to beat.
I got one to install proxmox on to play with, hoping to put opnsense on it and a couple of containers.

Actually it will run any 9 series chip just fine. It's not a overclockers dream super board. But it will absolutely run any 9 series cpu without issue at stock settings. These posts acting like you need some high end board for a cpu that draws the same wattage as a lower end cpu with the same tdp is nuts.
Seems like a great deal to upgrade an older office computer to be (officially) compatable with Windows 11. I spent more last month on an AM4 system. This AM5 MB +32gb Mem for $140 plus Ryzen 5 8500g for $143, reusing old case and SSD should be a decent PC for web browing and office apps.
I have this board running a 9700x and a B650E-I running my 9800x3d. I have zero issues with this board. Got it in a Newegg bundle and was worried with the bad reviews but it's been completely fine.
I have this exact motherboard, it is great so far, been 3 months ish. Paired with a Ryzen 5 9600X and CL30 teamgroup tforce memory. I got it when it was in a combo with the CPU.

Read the whole thread and the instructions is good for both the gaming wifi and gaming wifi plus.
If you're buying a $500 CPU, get a mid range motherboard.
