That being said, anyone have any suggestions for similar games that have come out since? I feel like we've been in a drought of this type of game for while.

I'm waiting for System Shock 2, hoping it's as good as it used to be but with updated graphics and controller support. I never finished it way back when.
Mooncrash is excellent, but I was super frustrated at first due to the corruption timer. I received some good tips on how to deal with that and then I really enjoyed it.
