This is indeed a nice grinder. This will not make bad coffee good, but instead it'll help make good coffee shine. I have one and fairly happy with it. My only complaint is that the inside of the machine is open for coffee grinds to easily fall into, collecting on the inside of the machine.

I have been grinding by hand for a few years now, used to have this, and was looking to get another one. Getting back on the train, this thing is a workhorse.

Mine lasted about 10 years.
In the last 2 years, I had one factory repair (new motor assembly for $70) plus I upgraded to M2 burrs. But then it bit the dust.

I've replaced it with the "OXO Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder".
Been very pleased with that it so far.

I've had this grinder since 2022 and this is a great price. I just recently upgraded the burrs and replaced another worn plastic part. Super repairable and grinds coffee really well.

I've been really worried that since Breville acquired the Baraza brand, the ability to buy repair parts would disappear. I'm really glad to see the parts page is still alive: https://www.baratza.com/en-us/lan...duct/parts . So long as that's true, I wholeheartedly recommend this grinder. I had to repair it after 8 years, and it's been another 4 years without issue since then.

If you're thinking about it, just do it. Great grinder. We don't use ours much these days since we have a Philips superauto LatteGo. But got lots of good years from this grinder, and very easy to take apart and service, if needed.

Correct. But, if I look at another Baratza item like this: https://a.co/d/aPTg8z8 the brand shows Baratza. Entirely possible it's just a different seller. But, maybe be cautious.
