Seriously.. If I didn't get the 2 x 4ah with a free tool deal last month deal I would be all on this. I mainly got the pair of 4ah batteries to replace the 2ah batteries that came with my Brushless Bosch Freak Drill and Impact driver set. The 8ah would be nice but after using a Rigid 8ah on my Rigid Drill I must say it does add significant weight. Would be good for stationary devices like lights, vacuum or miter saws . The Bosch batteries are a lot smaller compared to the Rigid batteries but I'm sure the weight difference between batteries is comparable.

8ah good for tools with continual running like vacs or their trim router.

I have the newest 18V Bosch trim router and can blast through a 4ah battery in 10 minutes.

I snagged one of the rotary hammers for $49 on clearance. The 8ah battery should be perfect for heavy duty work with the rotary hammer.

Great price for the 8ah battery. I remember my first Bosch kit came with the 2.5 or 3g vacuum which ate up the 4ah battery in no time. I bought the a sawall kit after so I have an extra battery. The best battery price came when Acme Tools had the BOGO 8ah for $109 and the BOGO 12ah for $149 (both after a $20 off coupon). I don't think I seen a deal for lower since.

these are 4AH batteries not 8

I show up, what a shit show at Lowes, nobody there to help, they apparently have it in a locker, the lady said they had a new sysem and i had to follow the steps.
I open the locker, at that point I've paid for it, i see they are 4ah batteries, not 8ah,, and have to go through a return with a snotty nose pierced service desk person.
I had downloaded the lowes app, but the incessant notificaitons every day even after i' turned all of them off.
I am done with Lowes

Holy crap these blow mold plastic cases for the 8a batteries are thick with dust. Anyone know how to read the date codes? I think I see a QR code with number on the top. But so dark grey it's hard to see and a little covered over by the plastic separation. Online no one seems to know how to find the date code. My galaxy S23 ultra can't read the QR code through the plastic ... ok got the qr code to acknowledge but nothing found on searches, wtf?
