That's pretty much what I did and the withdrawals/rebounds where awful almost to the point of quitting but I managed with tums and alka-seltzer calcium carbonate for about 6 months and finally all off. About once a month I'll take tums now, nothing compared to the 60mg I used to take of this stuff. Go through it, ittle be worth it in the end.
I do see a mediocre 10% off when you buy 4 deal.

The last doctor I talked to about it put it best IMO, after I told him I stopped taking it bc I was worried about long term effects: "look, you need this. I see your concern about potential long term effects of taking it, and raise you your CURRENT, actual harm of having untreated acid reflux, which can cause all kinds of nasty things, including cancer. Your choice." I chose to continue the Prilosec again.
