Insurance prices can actually be higher than retail, that's how they profit from you despite you thinking you're getting a discount (on very common drugs).

The crazy part? My insurance will only allow 30 tablets at once. My cost would be $10.
Amazon actually used to let me order 180 tablets, and it cost less than $15. Now it's max 90, but still considerably cheaper.
If you have other prescriptions, Amazon has a "$5 all you can eat" type plan.
I love to hate on Amazon like anyone, but this is a good deal!
Also check out mark Cuban drugs for similar discounts without insurance.

Also recent studies have shown prolonged use of Omeprazole can lead to early dementia.
Overall.. just eat better and stay away from acidic foods/drinks.
