The PS5 is the same price, it's not just Microsoft that raised prices, and allegedly MS is losing "hundreds" on each console due to the RAM shortage, although, I'm not sure I buy that personally.

Switch 2 will be $500 in September. PS5 is the same price as Xbox. Valve is the actually crazy one with their $800 Steam Deck.

I'd recommend buying used on FB Marketplace -- I've seen a lot of $300-350 consoles. Even a $200 Xbox Series S if you just need something entry-level.

574 without tax? Really? I can but a PC, play game everyday for 8 hour and then let it do AI mining for 16 hour to earn it's own money back.
