Man was hoping for something better as $399.99 with $50 gift card. Oh well.

Objectively speaking, this deal is better than the most recent relevant comparable deal from Costco featuring the extra controller for the same price. $50 gift card > extra controller.

I expect the 1TB Series X w/ disc drive to be discontinued sooner than later as to be $399.00 or less. The disc less version of 1TB Series X is coming and will be for $449.99. The 2 TB disc Series X will be for $599.99.

$199.99 or less Series S 512GB will happen

And you might even score a better deal AFTER the Black Friday since these were not moving as many as Microsoft had hoped them to be. Considering this will probably be the last console that supports physical disc, it's a good blu-ray player + game pass machine if nothing else for about $300-350

Especially if you're buying the Series X to play CFB 25, the Target deal is better for Target Circle members with RedCard.

For Circle members, Target has 20% off the Series X with purchase of CFB 25. With RedCard that's $447 before tax.

Given the fact that some games are getting very hard to get on physical media and best buy pretty much refuses to sell xbox software in my area, I would personally pass on this. Oh and the fact that it was $350 during last years holiday sales, so what do you think it will be this year.

If you were a betting man, like myself, what are the odds the Series X will be at least $399 this Black Friday?

I am on the fence still. Have a big back log of physical 360, One games but waiting for a great deal I missed last year
