I always suggest reading the SDS (Formerly MSDS) sheets for stuff like this. This is basically soapy water, not to say it may not be effective, it's similar to simple green, zep etc's mild earth friendly cleaners.

oh that was going to be my question... thank you for answering. i used the Super Clean formula but unfortunately is a bit weak compared to the Samsclub industrial degreaser so i had to go back to that... Samsclub degreaser is more expensive at $9 but it's much stronger than Super clean... .so stronger than this WD40. thank you for your input.
