I've been on the fence for upgrading my 5-6 year old mix of 2/4AH batteries that I have. This one finally got me to go for it. Dual port charger a nice little bonus for me personally, as well.

This is not too bad a deal. I think I paid about $90 for two 6ah HP batteries. That size is probably my favorite. But at least with this you get the charger. However, just know in advance, that charger is not fast. I bought it a year or two ago on deal, I believe it's 50watts per side. So no faster than two of the cheap pack in chargers running at the same time. A bit more convenient I guess, but don't expect it to be fast...

The PCG005 my friend uses is much faster than the basic chargers. And this model does claim to be two times as fast.

Just in time for spring cleaning. My existing battery sadly dead. I probably should have trickled charged it during the offseason

There is no trickle charging with Li-Ion, in fact you want the opposite and should store these batteries at around 50-60% of a charge. Keeping them fully charged decreases their longevity.

The chart of various chargers seems to indicate that it would be be twice as fast, if only charging a single battery, but amps drop in half when charging two batteries at the same time.

In for 2. Been using all my original batteries that have come with the various power tools I've bought over the years. Figured it's time to replace several of them since a couple won't charge anymore and others don't last as long. 10% military discount stacked on top makes this pretty slick.
