My first one just died after about four months, but it may have been my fault. I ran descaling with a diluted white vinegar mixture, maybe it affected a seal somewhere. I had a backup from a $30 sale and am using that one, we'll see how long it lasts.

The one I had that ran for a year was descaled with 50/50 vinegar several times. I don't think that is the issue.
Also, when I got my warranty replacement, they didn't ask about descaling. They asked a bunch of other questions and walked me through cleaning the needles (even though I had already tried that) before offering a replacement.

The first lasted about a year and 2000 pods before dying. Bought another.
It lasted about a month, then died. Keurig honored the 1-yr warranty replacement and gave me a new one.
I've had that one about a month but haven't opened the box because the first one magically started working again, and I'm using it.
