Good deal but for $33 you can get an 8 piece set that has multi-material, hardwood, and wood blades.

Any big differences between brand name blades and your generic ones you find on Amazon? I just need some for the occasional DIY involving my oscillating tool and keep extras for unexpected projects.

Milwaukee bought out the best blade manufacturers and had them continue to make blades for them. They are the best imo. Also, the Milwaukee tool is the best I've used. It senses the pressure you're applying and increases the power as needed.

I just got some generic amazon ones today to notch some plywood cabinets and I was surprised at how well they cut. Cut through 1/2 plywood like butter. Probably wont last very long, but you get like 24 blades for $15. I don't think I will ever go through that many in my lifetime.

Probably made in the same factory, just don't have the fancy brand name. The only time I'd pay a premium for multi tool blade is for carbide.

These Milwaukee blades are made in the USA (Mississippi I think). I highly doubt that those 24 for $15 Amazon specials would come from anywhere but China.

I seriously doubt these are ten times better than the very good generics I've purchased before. Perhaps for precision detail work the better blades might be preferred, but for demolition or general use the generics are a better deal. Just return them if you get a bad bbatch.

The EZARC carbide ones are quite good in my personal usage cutting through nails. ProjectFarm did a big value test on these and the EZARC came out the winner, but at this price, if carbide...good buy, although someone posted a better deal higher up. That being said, I've routinely seen it stated that most of the time, it's far cheaper just to blow through cheap blades than pay the milwaukee etc markup. That being said, my bauer wood blade from HF has been excellent for the $. Ryobi ones? Cheap and flexible. I'll never buy again..the thickness definately makes a difference in their utility.

When it comes to these, get the Chinese garbage on Amazon. They're not as good, but they work fine and you'll easily get better value and variety with them. 50 cents vs $5 per blade - You'll thank yourself, especially when you get your blades gummed up and realize you could've just done this with a cheapo instead of a name brand that you're paying 10x for.

An adapter may be necessary to use these on some other oscillating tools like dremels.
