Thanks and repped! This is one thing I feel the inflation squeeze. The sales are much fewer and far between

It's cheaper from Petco if you do the first time subscribe and save. $15-16.

Not all wet cat food has the first ingredient as water, though.

If it's in gravy then yes... it's always the first ingredient. Even the meat is 70% moisture.

Oh really? Please give an example. I bet you can't find any wet cat food with a moisture content less than 65%. The wet food I give my cats is 75-80% water

lol I didn't say anything about moisture content. I specifically mentioned the first ingredient.

I'm begrudgingly in at this price bc pets enjoy it and I like to give variety.

Some brands have broth instead of water. (I can easily add my own water, if I want LOL) Sheba's suggested serving is 4 to 5 trays per 5 lbs body weight. They get dry food and 2 snack-size wet foods.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank IndigoCrowd3304

After looking over reviews and analysis of various cat food brands, I found the general unbiased opinion to be that Sheba is the healthiest and most natural budget friendly wet cat food. Anything better is outrageously priced (Blue and I and Love and You are close when deals are found) and anything cheaper or same price doesn't have the quality as Sheba. It should be known though that fish is not actually the best for cats. They cannot maintain a diet of just fish. It's lacking at least one essential vitamin cats need. Make sure it's less than half of what they are fed. Also, you can see the recommended servings for each variety. You'll find the "gravy" styles along with any fish flavor call for 5 to 6 servings. The pate style with turkey and chicken and beef tend to be 4 to 5. Not a huge difference but it adds up and shows the nutrient difference.

Also sheba is usually right around 1 buck per double tray in the packs, and when there are rebate app deals you can get close to .50 to .75 per pack. There might still be a $3 rebate in Facebook ads and the same times 3 if you have fetch. combined makes this actually an amazing deal

Fyi---Accidentally stumbled upon this.

https://www.reddit.com/r/catfood/s/tJv3luSxFq

I haven't seen anything like it on other cat food. Also commenters seem to primarily say they received food from amazon.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, it looks like all the previous posts for Sheba were cheaper.
