YMMV Best Buy has open box 75" Samsung QN85D
Fair $660
Good $702
Excellent $743

There are several open box available within a half hour of me...so I assume its going to be pretty available

Dont trust Best Buy's descriptions GO TO THE STORE AND LOOK AT IT
I have seen fair units that were excellent when I got there and vice versa
Also..dont be surprised if the in store price is LOWER than what is posted online

Unfortunately, you cant call the stores directly these days for those details

For those wondering...Full Manufacturer warranty from your date of purchase
You can also buy the 2 or 5 year Best Buy Geek squad warranty as well that reduces with the price of the TV

Is this a decent price or great price? Seems to fit all the checks for a 75inch movie / gaming TV while having a good picture and pretty low price. Though worried about warranty being an open box item (though I've gotten two computers through Best Buy Open box and still going strong many years later)

I picked up a 55 Inch S85D for my parents. The TV is terrific. Great colors, audio, and I personally wish I picked one up for myself.

I did get an open box in "Good" condition. The TV came in a non-Samsung box (Sony) and when I got home, I realized that it was missing the TV stand. I had to go back to the store and they didn't have it in stock. They called a few other local stores to see if they had extra legs. Unfortunately, they didn't have any, but gave me one of the Best Buy branded universal tv stand for free.

I would recommend checking out the TV before you leave the store.

Dang it. It is a good deal and available in my area. Now I just need some will power to not buy it.

This one is painful to pass on. It's worth it to go check it out in person. Most of what I have purchased open box have no issues with actual condition. OP and others are right where something could be marked fair for virtually no reason at all.

Painful to pass on because it's a really good deal? Ordered one for local pick up. We'll see if it goes well 🤷. Can't imagine TVs are gonna go down more in price soon with the tariff situation, and I've been looking for a while

TCL Q7 deal for a few hundred less and new sounds like it's better than this for gaming and someone valuing fast response and deep blacks despite this being mini led, no?

Yeah this is basically 40-50% off... Depending on the condition it was marked as. They shouldn't be damaged, just less than perfect or missing something.

Best to my knowledge only Asus as of right is no longer honoring Best buy open box warranties but with how things are changing you would be foolish not to get the extended warranty.

This also has multiview which is a nice feature that disappeared from the majority of tvs, which is so puzzling to me.

Wasn't planning on getting the extended warranty as it's kinda pricey. Does Bestbuy make warranty claims easy or do they fight it?

$160 for 5 years seems like a great deal, as for warranty it is actually usually pretty straight forward. I have not had to use mine in awhile but last I did they had parts on backorder for about a month so it was a long wait, but then they paid me the full amount I paid for the TV because I complained about the time it took. I dont know if their guarentee times are better now, but it does look like they heavily try to repair electronics now compared to just cashing you a check like they used to. Also for any TV this size they send a service tech out.

Be sure to check the screen in store. One scum store sold me a cracked screen and bubble wrapped it. Didn't find out until an hour drive home later. Drove back and they denied my return of the crack screen. Had to call corporate to deal with it. Wasted my whole day.

Bought at one at two different locations in case one is canceled. Let's see 🤞
