I have worn these for years and think they are great and recommend buying them if you want solid headphones. I have never had a problem with refurbished items too and don't think lesser of them.
The fit feels more organic than the Sony competitor and is less sweaty, the bluetooth is just more solid and quick to respond and change devices as the Sony and much of the other bluetooth devices I have, all at the cost of being SLIGHTLY less bassy than the Sony (and I only notice because I have worn them for years and switch when the battery wears out). Long term the pads are easy to change out and are cheap. I have had to fix my Sonys plastic multiple times. And they look better/slimmer compared to Sony. These are great for warmer weather too.
And it really does charge a lot in the first 10 minutes like they advertised. My only complaint is the app was always a headache to download. So much so that I haven't hunted it down for my newer phones because it's just so easy to connect without it and I forget if there was any benefit to it.
Finally, I am the one that's knows enough about something to make a long comment. My moment to shine lol.
Different, not necessarily better. However, if the clamping force of the headphones matter to you, then the Bose are much easier on that pressure than Sony. Most headphones can be headaches. The Bose do not.

Great deal. Ordered one a couple days ago. Better value than the QC Ultra for $238 based on reviews comparing the two.

Yes, but this may come with hard case. Unless, it from Costco returned (soft case).

I think these are the current non-Ultra headphones, the successors to the QC45. It looks like Bose decided to drop model numbers

That's goofy. At least they're doing the "new" moniker like Apple and Nintendo did (the NEW "I"-Pad and the NEW 3DS).

It was like a bad comedy act when you were trying to buy a used NEW device.

I have Bose QC35ii for past 5 years (bought for $199 new), wonderful NC, no pressure/clamping force, so you can wear for longer duration, even for 4 or 5 hours continious meeting, I never had a problem.

Thank you. I have Sony 1000XM3 and am thinking of upgrading to QC35ii. I had and missed QC35i after upgrading to XM3.

Bose dropped the model number for its latest QC headphones. QC35/ QC35ii was around 2020, QC 45 after that, and the latest QC headphones were available from later 2023 and now. The latest QC headphones are much better than QC35 regarding music quality and comfort; NC is similar. I used it for a 15-hour International flight, listening to my music the whole way; it was very comfortable. I had a QC35ii headset for yard work only now.
