Yeah man, even at the $50 the triple lamp is amazing. Bought one for myself, used it so much at work they bought everyone one.

If you're REALLY on a budget this is a flexible and capable choice, otherwise do yourself a favor and hold out for this model instead.

I have and love the 3 head model for the price. I stopped in a different Home Depot and the shelf price shows $80 still. It was the same way when I bought mine at my local and it rang up at $50. Just FYI.

Thanks. I saw that one before posting. I would have jumped on it, but it wasn't on sale any more. ☹️

Seems to vary by location. My local stores all have stock, but showing $80 online.
(note for the 3 head version)

I would love to ditch the old halogens that waste much of the energy just heating up but are either of these (this one or the triple version) plug in, meaning you can run them off AC if the batteries are dead?

Same as all of mine - I'm going to swing by a few and see what they ring up at.

800 lumens isn't bright enough to work with tools, in my opinion. This would work well for a reading light though.

Get these. I have 2 of them and use them when my daughter trains for soccer on fields without lights. They are great!

i still have some of the old halogen, sometimes in the nasty winter they come in real handy when working under a car. The heat and light lol.

I think this would work fine as a budget camp site light, especially if you're in a spot where you can't light a camp fire

This is a solid light for the price. Ordered earlier today and it was delivered by the time I got off work. I was expecting a cheapo light. This is far from it. It is bright and is a good quality light for the money. It is more of a warmer light similar to the Milwaukee M12 Rover. I'm not disappointed one bit.

This is more than enough for any on-the-go auto needs. It's small enough to fit in the glove compartment, and it also doubles as a camping light—super handy and versatile.

In for 1. Thanks OP!
