"Greenview pure grass seed" then pick your mix, and a separate fertilizer is is better than this. If you need soil conditioner get a bag or bags of top soil and spread that around the areas needed

Same price at Walmart and Home Depot. I'm in Texas, will this survive full sun drought conditions?

This one won't do well, it's mostly northern grass blends that will burn off here. The Bermudagrass one (same price at HD but an orange label) would be perfect.

I bought this on a slick deal a few years back and have had great luck with it in the Pacific Northwest. There are probably cheaper/better ways to over-seed and fill in thin areas affected by moss etc, but not easier ways. This product is spread and forget on my lawn and my lawn is visibly healthier/thicker within a few weeks. I do have an in ground sprinkler system.

Go to a grass/lawn store and find local and specific seeds that work in your area. This likely won't.
