Additionally at around $75 all razor brands shift from adding valuable features to just adding luxury brand appeal trying to get your $$$.
I've owned from $30 - $175 Braun and Norelco over the years. My fave of all is a $50 Norelco.

Wish I was sponsored! Thanks for the info.
This style, the foil shavers, definitely give a closer shave than the phillips norelco 3 round head type.
I have the phillips norelco, I think 7000 series and the braun 8.
If i had to choose one it would be the norelco, it's faster and way quieter, also much cheaper. The downside of the norelco ones is the mustache area can be a little bit difficult to get well because the cutting area is like the size of a nickel and doesn't extend to the outside of the shape of the 3 heads, so getting close to the nose is a little bit tricky, and it's not as close a shave.
The downsides with the braun is that they're more expensive, they are quite loud, and they take several passes on the chin and neck areas where heair grows in multiple directions.
In general they're both pretty nice but for being fast, quieter and cheaper I prefer the norelco
Sport package doesn't have that procare head and seems to be in cheaper black plastic.
