I got this from Walmart and used it twice. On second use, smoke started to come out from the brush area. I contacted Eureka and they sent a refund check. I would not recommend this vacuum.
We have 2 of this same exact model and we love it. The recent one I got was from Walmart for $25 online clearance (blue color in place of red but rest all same). For $35 it is still a great deal for super lightweight bagless corded vac. The cord is super lonnnng and so convenient. And I got replacement 6 pack foam filters for $10 or so from Amazon so that when the original filter is drying up (after cleaning) I can continue my vac with these replacement washable filters. I already have another Eureka "Power Speed" bagless vac, 5 years old, still running strong, it is bigger in size than this model listed in this deal so we started using this for all vac cleaning. I have robovac etc. but nothing like the kPa suction power of these units.

How's the noise level on this model?

That was a slipping belt that burnt. It happens with belts. Either a defective belt or possibly old stock and loose from age.

Just like any other corded vac. I have Hart and Ryobi stick vacs and old robot vacs too but nothing can beat this $30 Eureka vac.
