I wouldn't pay this much for them. Judging from the model number, these are Yamaha's entry level earbuds below the TW-E5B and the TW-E7B. For comparison, the TW-E5B were an OK deal at $35 recently (decent value but nothing special about their peformance).

Correct except that I love the E5Bs and use them as my daily earbuds and are one of the only earbuds on the market with only physical buttons and no capacitive buttons and doers not have NC or ANC as I dislike those features and don't really need or want them.

The E3C is an 2024 model with full capacitive buttons as well and doesn't have the same level of sound quality as the E5b or the E7 models and for a newer model such as these, the common complaint seems to be connectivity issues although it is supposed to be bluetooth 5.2 which is odd as most, if not all bluetooth 5.2 models do not have issues with connectivity any longer as that was a pre-bluetooth 5.0 issue

But yes, I also would not pay this much for this set as well. Buy the E7 or E5 models.
