Money well spent. This is one of my top 3 favorite games of all time.

Not a bad series, but $10 is still a good bit for a 10 year old game. Really feels more like (it should be) regular price at $10.
It's been around $6 in the past, even ~$7 (BTA tier) and later just $1 (basic tier) with a few other games in a couple HumbleBundles. Plus, CURRENTLY cheaper from CDKeys.. ($8.69) [cdkeys.com]

It seems it doesn't work on Linux.

Kinda similar to Supreme Commander RTS (The successor to the classic game Total Annihilation).

I enjoyed playing this game with my brother over LAN network so I recommend it for that. Solo Skirmish with AI was good too. I haven't played the Campaign tho.

Protondb and Steam's Steam Deck rating would disagree

I backed this on kickstarter, the team that made it had a lot of the same people that made SupCom and TA.

There's also a newish open source game called Beyond All Reason, it's free to download and feels like the true spiritual successor to Supreme Commander

O.K. so I should correct myself and say it doesn't work natively on my Linux Debian system?

Never heard about Beyond All Reason, downloaded it because of your post and played for about 30 minutes. It is exactly as I remember OG Total Annihilation was. I even still have muscle memory of some of the old keyboard commands and I haven't played that game since the late 90's / early 2000's...

So cool and thank you!

I loved TA, I played it so many hours (can't even begin to guess). I picked it up as my first 'modern' PC game as my mother finally upgraded to a Windows PC that could actually play newer (at the time) games. If memory serves I only bought it because the name so epic....TOTAL ANNIHILATION!
