I've not tried the breakfast options but I've tried all their others:
Cheesy Macaroni - edible but very thin sauce and disappointing
Creamy Pasta & Vegetables - Awful. True emergency food because the only way you'll want to eat it is if you're starving.
Gluten-Free Potatoes & Chicken Flavored Pot Pie - This one is fairly decent, one of the few of their offerings I'd willingly eat again.
Gluten-Free Teriyaki Rice - Very mid, not very calorie dense.
Savory Stroganoff - OK but its just noodles and cream sauce so not a very good source of nutrients or calories.
Spend more and get something from Mountain House, which is actually tasty, and has better nutrients and calorie density.
For those not in the know:
When you look at survival food, you want a lot of calories and you want good nutrients especially protein. Depending on where you live and how active you expect to be, you should be looking for 1800-3000 calories per person to day; if you expect a lot of cold weather or walking/hiking, you may want even more.
Each Pouch of Ready Wise is only about 800-1000 calories and 4 servings - so 200 to 270 calories per. That means you'll be going through 2-3 pouches a day - ReadyWise's "servings" are complete BS. So this food for one week for one adult just surviving or about 3-4 days of actually trying to deal with an emergency.
