TRASH. PC version is bad and hard to optimize graphics. No matter what you do it will lag.

I could not disagree with this more. I can get it to play well on my steam deck and my 3080 ti desktop.

I have 7900xtx with just a 7600x ryzen 5, and my buddy has 2080 ti.we have the same issue. We couldn't play a decent singleplayer or head to head. I scour the internet for a good month to optimize the grahics. Nothing seems to have fix it. Even on the lowest settings it stutters and lag.

we can play it but it just lags so much its annoying. maybe its just an AMD thing

I'm on a 5700X3D with a 3080(even played with a 3070 prior to upgrading) without issues. Not sure what the problem is with your setup. I did turn off some settings. Like the one option to turn off moving fabrics or whatever it's called. I also left raytracing off. Most settings were on high and I bounced around 60-74 fps at 3440x1440p.

The game is supposedly pretty bad online, but offline play isn't so bad. I used the player lock feature to kinda do a half-arsed "my player mode" without the online fluff.
