Voltage Problems with GIGABYTE B850M GAMING X WIFI6E
Common Voltage-Related Issues
• Users have reported boot issues (such as the DRAM red light staying on and failure to POST) with this motherboard, often linked to memory compatibility or BIOS settings rather than a direct voltage regulator failure.
• The motherboard uses a 10+2+2 twin digital VRM design, which should provide stable power delivery for supported CPUs.
• If you experience voltage problems (e.g., instability, failure to boot, or random shutdowns), these are often related to:
• Incorrect power supply voltage (ensure your PSU matches your local voltage standard).
• Outdated BIOS, which can cause instability or poor memory compatibility—updating the BIOS has resolved issues for some users.
• Improper installation of RAM or CPU, or faulty components
Using mosfets that are spec'd properly is perfectly acceptable.
I wonder if don't overclock or up the voltage it should work ryzen 9 and newer

I don't need to upgrade
I don't *need* to upgrade

As suggested, easiest would be grab a 5600x3d/5700x3d/5800x3d cpu drop-in upgrade then buy either the 9070xt or 5070ti; or the best used $700 gpu you can buy.
