According to some benchmarks:
https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/com...ragon_720g
This would be roughly on par with a Raspberry PI 5 for CPU power (and most likely better on the GPU, could not find that comparison)
That would mean, it should be able to emulate anything till PS2 / Gamecube generation, and will be "case-by-case" for those.
If you wonder about the local gameplay options, this is what I could tell.

I keep wishing for something like this that could work like a Steam Link or run PS Remote with my PS4. Someday, maybe.

Yeah, was thinking about that more. I've got a used Galaxy (broken camera, etc) that likely has far more power than this thing. Just need to figure out controllers...or prop it up and use a stand alone controller...which is less portable, but doable with zero spend (for me).

I also did some looking and Moonlight may be an even better option for this than Steam Link. Definitely worth exploring.

There are many good controller options. One such recent deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/18264688-gamesir-g8-plus-bluetooth-mobile-game-controller-for-switch-ios-android-tablets-wireless-gamepad-with-hall-effect-joysticks-hall-trigger-black-47-60?v=1&src=SiteSearch

I personally use and enjoy the Razr Kishi V2 pro, and on occasion this generic bluetooth one:

Really wish the portal worked for the PS4 that I'm still rocking. Yes I can use my phone but drains battery and also the screen is much smaller. A dedicated device would be nice. I'm considering the cloud but disappointed portal isn't really an option

I got one from this deal. I can confirm that Gamecube works at a playable state around 30 to 60 fps depending on game. I haven't tried PS2.

You can, the Steam link app comes installed and you just have to download the PS remote app from the google store. I have played more Ps5 (and ps4 game from it) on it than Xbox or Steam. It works great, with almost no lag on my wifi 6 router.

The screen is so much bigger, and it's lightweight and comfortable to hold for the size. It's like a gaming Android tablet with a good controller attached.

I was surprised how much I use it since getting it. I have a Legion, Ally and Steam deck and I haven't touch them since getting this. Mainly playing Ps remote while the main tv is being used. I like how light and the battery life too. I
