I have RE 2 and 3 for PS4 in my backlog. Worth the upgrade or will playing these on PS5 be close to the same experience?

Maybe for RE 2 since it's one of the best remakes and if you want higher frame rate, ray tracing, haptic support. But RE 3 is too short to pay $20.

There is a bundle on the PS Store that includes the PS5 versions of both RE2 and RE3, and it often goes on sale for $15. It's called Resident Evil 3 Raccoon City Edition. It's not on sale currently, but it likely will be again in a few weeks. It's not the physical discs, but you get the digital versions of both games for $5 less than this deal for one game. I prefer physical, but not enough to pay more for it.
